In the context of the operation of the STREAMEE service, the Company MCN STUDIOS PRIVATE COMPANY processes the personal data it has collected from you, in accordance with the terms of the applicable national legislation and the European Union Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).

1. What personal data we collect

The Company collects only the personal data it requires. Such data depend on how you interact with the STREAMEE service.

α. Subscribers

To use the STREAMEE service you can subscribe to it for free so that you have access to all its premium content.

Ι) Personal data we collect from you

i) Personal data collected by us when you create your account and subscribe to the STREAMEE service:

When you subscribe, you will be asked to provide specific personal data that include your username, e-mail address, password and optionally your age and gender.

You may also choose to provide us with further information in order to make your account more personalized, such as a photo for your profile on your account, the address and country you reside in or other contact details, your date of birth, your educational level, your hobbies and interests, other details you may provide if you choose to log in through a third-party service (Facebook, yahoo, google), such as, indicatively, your full name.

ii) Personal data collected by us when you access and use the STREAMEE services:

When you use the service, we collect information about your searches, your streaming history, your library, your lists, your browsing history, your preferences and interests, any comments and/or reviews, content as posted on the STREAMEE service, such as, indicatively, photos, titles of playlists and any information resulting from your use of the service. We store your activity regarding, indicatively, the number and titles of the songs you listen to, the songs, stations, artists, DJs you prefer (I like), your song lists, and listening time, the ads you watch, the “STREAMEE coins” you collect. You can post comments, reviews, voice data and other information on the chat service of radio stations. These data are not stored by us.

We may collect technical data such as URL information, cookie data and IP addresses, information about the type of device you use and how it interacts with the STREAMEE service.

When you subscribe to the STREAMEE service we may collect information about your location at frequent intervals during the use of the service, such as, indicatively, location information on the device from which you use the service.
We will not collect information about your location from your device if you have not allowed the STREAMEE application to access your device’s location services (opt-in). At the same time, we may derive information about your location from other information we collect, such as your IP address, which may indicate the location from which you connect to the internet, to comply with radio stations’ permissions (which are of a geographical nature) and to provide you with personalized content and advertisements.

Some STREAMEE services may require you to provide us with third party data, such as in the event that we ask you to provide us with the e-mail address of third parties to whom you wish to send “STREAMEE coins”. By providing this personal information to us you confirm that you have all the necessary permissions to provide it.

At the same time, we may send you web promotional notifications – push notifications in order to inform you about various events and promotions. In this case, we may need to collect from you information about the device and the user’s identity.

We use Firebase (https://www.firebase.com/), a framework maintained by the Google subsidiary Firebase, through which we track and administer the following real-time functions:
Tracking of user behavior through Google Analytics (cp. para 2) for Firebase; Tracking of app crashes and their reasons through Firebase Crashlytics (cp. para 3); Push notifications through Firebase Cloud Messaging (cp. in para 4); Some Firebase services process personal data. In most cases, the personal data is limited to so-called “instance IDs”, which are provided with a time stamp. These “Instance IDs” assigned by Firebase are unique and thus allow the linking of different events or processes. This data does not represent personally identifiable information for us, nor do we make any efforts to personalize it subsequently. We process the aggregated data to analyze and optimize usage behavior, for example by evaluating crash reports. For all mentioned Firebase services, only anonymized or pseudonymized user data is transmitted to Firebase (Google). We use YouTube API Services as an online resource to which our website may link or otherwise reference that you may access through our website (“Third-Party Services”). Therefore, our website utilizes the YouTube API Services, and you are agreeing to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms), Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy), and API Services Terms of Service (https://developers.google.com/youtube/terms/api-services-terms-of-service) when engaging YouTube content and services through our website. We take no responsibility for the content or privacy practices of any Third-Party Services. We encourage you to carefully review the privacy policies of any Third-Party Services you access.

In addition to Streamee ’s normal procedure for deleting stored data, you will be able to revoke the data of YouTube API Services via the Google security settings page at https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions or https://myaccount.google.com/permissions

If you participate in surveys and in this context you answer relevant questions that will be asked by us, we may collect information that you choose to provide to us in combination with other data that we may collect from your use of the STREAMEE service.

 

ΙΙ) Personal data we receive from other sources

We collect personal data from social media when you use third-party credentials (e.g. Facebook) to connect to our services. For example, when you sign in to your account with your Facebook credentials, we collect information for the creation of your account, such as username, photo, and email address.

We may receive certain data from our technical service partners to allow us to provide the STREAMEE services.

Finally, we may receive certain data from advertisers that allow us to provide advertisements that are relevant to you (such as, indicatively, cookies, or mobile device identifiers, findings about your interests).

 

β. Non- subscribers/ visitors

You can always use the STREAMEE service without subscribing to it. In this case, users have access to only certain features of the application. The data we collect in this case is exclusively of statistical nature, such as, indicatively, the time you listen to music and the kind of music. The data are kept anonymous and are not individualized per visitor. At the same time, during the use of the STREAMEE service, we may send you web promotional notifications – push notifications in order to inform you about various events and promotions.

 

2. Why we use your data

We use your personal data for various commercial purposes based on different legal bases. Depending on the case, we may rely on your consent, e.g. by selecting the appropriate setting on the STREAMEE service or authorising us through a consent mechanism that appears, or on the fact that the processing is necessary for the fulfillment of a contract with you, the protection of your interests or for compliance with the law. At the same time, we may process your personal data when we consider that we have a legitimate interest in it, always weighing your interests and rights.
In particular, we use your data:

• To provide you with, assess, support, improve and further develop STREAMEE services.
• To provide you with a safe environment and detect any fraud.
• To provide you with personalized content and personalized advertising.
• To understand and analyze usage data in order to improve your experience and to be able to resolve any issues that arise.
• To contact you about your account.
• To fulfill your requirements for specific services.
• To send you information you ask us for or have agreed to receive.
• To inform you of the latest developments in relation to the STREAMEE service. In this case we may send you web promotional notifications – push notifications and e-mails.
• To invite you to participate in promotions in connection with our products and/or artists.
• To comply with legal obligations and law enforcement requests and to be able to refute, raise or exercise legal claims.
• To fulfill our contractual obligations with third parties (e.g. licensing agreements).
• To conduct studies, surveys, analyses and competitions.

 

3. Who are the recipients of your data

We may share your personal data with service providers acting on our behalf, with our partners or third-parties with your consent. Please note that we do not share personal data with third parties for their own promotional purposes.

Service providers: We may share your personal data with service providers who perform certain services on our behalf. These providers include companies we have hired for the customer service, the technical security of our systems and services, technical support and the promotion of our services and products.

Advertising partners: We may share your personal data with our advertising partners in order to provide you with advertisements that we consider to be of most direct interest to you (personalized advertising).

STREAMEE Partners: From time to time we may enter into a partnership with third parties for the provision of services or other benefits. With them we may share data regarding your use of the STREAMEE service. In this case, we require that our partners protect your personal data.

Social media: You may link your account with third-party applications and/or devices, such as social media, TVs, etc. In this case and in order to connect your account, we share your technical data with the operators of these applications and devices.
The STREAMEE service may also allow you to share your data on social media, such as Facebook. In this case, your consent will be required prior to sharing. The use of personal data by social media applications is subject to their own privacy rules.

Editors: We may share your technical data with third parties who provide the content you listen to in the STREAMEE service (e.g. device type, IP address, etc.).

Other companies in the Group: We may share your personal data with other companies in our Group to carry out our daily activities.

Others: We may share your data with others with your consent or if we believe that disclosure is necessary in order to comply with a legal obligation or to respond to a valid legal process or in the event of a reason of national security or public interest, or in the event of a sale, reorganization or merger.

 

4. Retention time of your data

We retain your personal data for the time necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was originally collected. We may, however, be required to retain your data for a longer period of time due to legal provisions (e.g. tax and commercial legislation).

• We retain some of your personal data while you are a user of the STREAMEE service, such as, indicatively, your playlists, song library, account information.
• Your data as a subscriber are stored until you request the deletion of your account.
• The data collected on the basis of your consent are retained until the withdrawal of your consent, which can be done at any time.
• The data related to your requests are kept until your request is satisfied.

 

5. What are your rights

As the subject of the data we process, you have the following rights:

• to request access to your data and be informed about their processing,
• to request that we correct your personal data;
• to request that we delete your personal data if they are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected or if you withdraw your consent to their processing and there is no other legal basis for the processing (“right to be forgotten”);
• to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data, in the event that (a) you question the accuracy of your personal data for the time necessary to verify it; (b) the processing is unlawful, but you object to the deletion of your personal data; (c) we no longer need your personal data for the purposes of the processing, but they are necessary for you to exercise your legal claims; and (d) you object to the processing until we have verified whether our legitimate interests override yours;
• to request the portability of your personal data, i.e. request that you receive a copy of the data in a readable format or ask us, where technically feasible, to transmit the data to another controller. This right exists for the data provided to us by you and their processing is carried out by automated means based on your consent or in the performance of a relevant contract,
• to object at any time to the processing of your data, when the processing of the data is based on a legitimate interest of ours or of third parties;
• to withdraw your consent to the processing of your data at any time, in case the processing of your data is based on your consent. The withdrawal of your consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent during the period prior to its withdrawal;
• to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).

 

6. Transfer to other countries

We may subcontract processing to, or share your personal data with, third parties located in countries other than your country. Your personal data, therefore, may be subject to privacy laws that are different from those in your country. In this case, we ensure that the transfer of your personal data is carried out in accordance with the applicable law.

 

7. Users over 18 years old

The use of the STREAMEE service can be made only by adults over 18 years of age.

 

8. Cookies

“Cookies” are small pieces of files in text format, which are stored in your browser when you visit the STREAMEE service. We use cookies in order to obtain useful information for your browsing on the STREAMEE service, as well as to read this information in order to provide you with a unified browsing experience (google analytics, internal cookies). In addition, cookies help us to see the performance and traffic of the STREAMEE service, improving its presentation and content according to your preferences. To the extent permitted by your “settings”, we also allow third parties to use cookies in order to record your behavior when using the STREAMEE service and to provide you with personalized advertisements based on your needs and direct interests.

9. Modification of terms

These terms are subject to unilateral amendment by the Company, without prior notice. The modified terms will be published immediately and will be considered binding upon you after their publication. In the event of significant modifications, the Company will provide you with appropriate notice, as the case may be, such as, indicatively, by an e-mail or by an apparent notification or indication which will require your acceptance. Continued use of the STREAMEE service implies acceptance of the modified terms.

 

10. Security of personal data

We protect your personal data by taking all necessary organizational and technical measures to avoid any form of illegal or unlawful processing. In particular:

• Ensuring the Confidentiality of the Transfer of Your Personal Data
  To ensure the confidentiality of data transfer, the SSL encryption protocol with RSA key 2048 bits (e 65537) is used. In addition, all backup systems we use have additional encryption (AES-256) before being transmitted to an approved cloud provider via SSL connection as an additional data safeguard measure. The backup providers we use today to store the data are:
  infrastructure of the company Top Host• Controlled Access
  The back-end infrastructure is hosted and installed in Data Centers that have ISO 27001 security standards and meet the GDPR requirements for data protection. Access to the Company’s systems (servers) is controlled by a firewall, which allows the use of specific services by users while prohibiting access to systems and databases with confidential data and information of the Company. The web hosting provider we use today is: Top Host• Encryption
  With the use of special software, the Company’s electronic system first decrypts the information it receives before processing it. The Company’s systems send information following the same encryption process. Wherever on the website you enter personal data (password, email, etc.) there is SSL encryption with an RSA key of 2048 bits (e 65537).
  The encryption protocol ensures that all the data you provide to us, including your name and address and password to your account, are encrypted so that they cannot be decrypted or changed when transferred online.
